Learning log 11 term 2 week 2
Hi,
On Monday:
Last week Ms Maliyana asked us too push our table aside.We were so excited.We tought there were games and no studying.But Ms Maliyana told us to gather at the center of the class since the tables and chairs were arranged to the side.Ms Maliyana asked us to spread in the center, make sure there i space for us to pass through each other...Ms Maliyana mention about walking speed from 1 to 10..we did this very fast and Ms Maliyana was so frustrated at us because we were so noisy...and she was force to scream at us.. that is why we did that activiy very fast... about 1 to 3 mins of listening to teacher repremanding we were told to be in groups in three,there should be a mixture of malays and chinese...after the groupings ... th teacher told us what is going to happen this term.She said this term we need to learn how act.. acting is 1 of our main and important criteria in the exams...the literature lesson is going to end soon so she told us when she say go to acting formation we need to push the tables and chairs aside and sit in our groups...we got a worksheet regarding MACBETH:WORKSHEET ONE.
we were told to fill in our group members name and contact numbers.

On friday,
We did push the tables and chairs to the side.but we never got into our groups.Ms Maliyana ask the even number to stand up and go to the stage(the center)she asked to walk in the speed and 10.After that she asked the odd numbers to stand up and go to the stage.We were to walk and express our feelings to the people in the class.Like if your happy u walk as in skipping.If ur sad or angry you stomp your feet or drag your leg.We were also asked to do the walikng action of a GANGSTER,CHILD AND A GRANDMOTHER.It was so fun and exciting,after that activity we were asked to answer this question:
Read through Macbeth's Witches opening scene.Answer these Question in the box provided.

a) What is your first impression of the withces scene? Is it a happy one? Is it a sad one? Give your ow responses.
b) Using what you have learnt from the walking activity just now,how do you think the Witches will move during the performance?

Leaning log 10 term 1 week 10

On monday Ms Maliyana explain the text about merchant of venice.line by line.We understood it.Whatever Romeo said its not meant for 1 meaning it is meant for a lot of meaning in a sentence . Romeo is a romantic guy who wants to win juliet's heart.we really learn a lot of things from Ms Maliyana.

On friday we learn about Love.Ms maliyana as usaul explain what is love and how romeo show it to juliet.We got a brochure and we wrote something which is:(which is the level of love for people in greeks)

3.State oyur favourite love song lyrics below.
so this is what I have learn from ms maliyana.Hope that we can learn more than this:)

Learning Log 9 term1 week 9

On monday we learn and analyse about a poem called humpty dumpty.We got a assingment which is to solve a given poem which is mix in the envelope.It is a poem that william shakespeare made..is called a sonnet...the titlle of the sonnet is called"SHALL I COMPARE THEE TO A SUMMER'S DAY".We need to arrange it in a correct order but it is very difficult.Want to know why??cause its from william shakespeare the most hardest to understand but yet it says many things in 1 line but Ms maliyana cares to explain 1 line by 1 line.she wants us to understand it very well.So that makes him popular in the whole world.Everybody knows him but he is no longer in this world.People remember the hard work william shakespeare does...which is do a wonderful poem for the tiltle example Merchant of Venice,romeo and juliet etc..


On wednesday,we got to watch the real video of Merchant of venice.Ms maliyana gave us a summary paper of the video and we were like oh my god!everything we do there must be a paper that must be given but we completed it.the worksheet is about character trait of everyone who acts at that scene.Now as the teachher's put a lot of effort doing extra work ...we now understand more about MOV.we have a more clearer view of the scene what happen and what they act.after that lesson we got home happily as we have understood the story called 'Merchant Of Venice'!!


On friday we played a game...this game is to answer a question from a partner who thinks that the question will come out for test or exam this have made me aware and i have know the answer that my friend question me.this game must have 2 people facing each other.The literature lesson was quite short on friday as we have a English test paper after the lesson so we were ready for the test about 10 minutes before the test start

Learning Log 8 term 1 week 8
hehe we start a new topic called "Romeo and Juliet" MR Chua showed us the video...it was fun but we were suppossed to write about thecahracter traits that we were assigned to...and i got lord capulet...Lord capulet is a nice men who welcome their guest like their own family...and Also we need to have a partner to do the pairwork which is the concept map about our character traits...i wish i can watch the whole video without doing any work...but we were also having a lot of fun during the period...Mr Chua ask the boys to remember the poem that Romeo said to Juliet as it could be useful during the future... ;P
